Very few TV shows hold my interest. Like the books I prefer to read, I like shows that are fast moving and get your heart racing.
One of my favorite shows used to be Criminal Minds. I think I probably watched it since its inception.
But then Thomas Gibson got fired, and Shemar Moore left. And I just couldn't watch it anymore without my two favorite characters.
So the other day I was online and I happened to think of Derek Morgan aka Shemar Moore, and I googled him to see what he was up to.
I was happy to see that he will be starring in a show that's being rekindled from the seventies, S.W.A.T., later in the fall season.
The 47 year old star is definitely easy on the eyes, I think. And he has a demeanor of fierceness in his roles that captivates me.
Here's the premise:
Shemar Moore plays a locally born and raised S.W.A.T. sergeant who runs a specialized tactical unit in LA.
Torn between loyalty to where he grew up and his allegiance to those he works with, Moore plays former Marine Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson.
With their new leader, this team bravely protect their community and save lives.
S.W.A.T. Series Premiere Thursday, Nov. 2 10/9c.
