Yesterday I got out and ran errands, and decided to go to the antique mall to get some exercise and look at pretties.
I got a few things and will show you when I get photos taken.
When I was inside the antique mall, I heard someone say it was raining. Naturally I had my windows in my car down somewhat and had to go out into the downpour to put them up.
Oh well, cooled things off a bit. But once that was over, we ended up with humid, fog-up-the-glass weather.
Then I got groceries and went home. Guess I'll make taco soup and freeze individual portions because that will feed me for awhile.
I sure dodged a bullet getting that red cupboard down before it fell.
If that thing had fallen in the middle of the night I probably would have had a heart attack or something.
I use it for food storage. And then other things like canned food and heavier items I put in the little cupboard in the dining area.
Both of which I found cheap at the antique mall at different times. That place is the best! The River City Trading Post in Jenks in case you're local.
You have to get creative when you don't have a pantry and don't use your kitchen cabinets.
I guess you must think I'm pretty silly for being so afraid of mice that I refuse to use my kitchen cabinets and drawers.
Well, I can tell you, if I had stuff in those cabinets and drawers and another mouse decided to invade my apartment, I would have a fit.
Easier to just not use them. Mice will get into built-ins, whereas they don't seem to infiltrate stand alone furniture.
I have noticed that some bloggers are talking fall already. Somehow I'm just not in the mood.
Maybe I won't even get in the mood this year. Who knows?
Usually I love to decorate for fall. But the older I get, the more tired the very thought of dragging things out makes me.
How about you? Decorating for fall yet? If not, are you planning to?
