Homemade Burritos & Squirrel TV

I've been eating some tasty homemade burritos lately. Everything from Trader Joe's.

Flour tortillas, pinto beans, sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese.

First I put beans in the center of a flour torilla. Then I add a dollop of sour cream. Then the same of guacamole. Then cheese.

Microwave a minute or so and you have a very good meal.

I also like Trader Joe's pulled chicken breast. I can get about four meals out of one packet ($5.99). I put it on their wheat hamburger buns.

I've also learned that I love the veggie corn dogs. Never thought I'd say I love corn dogs. But these are delicious!

And I've replaced my slice of cake at night with their ice cream sandwiches. Sometimes a banana.

Abi seems to be feeling better.

Watch this sequence of events where the squirrel teases poor Charlie.

Charlie's eyes are about to bug out of his head. He sits still as a statue and trembles.

Then Charlie barks and the squirrel skid-daddles. But this squirrel is not going to stop teasing him.

Is this called "squirrel lounging?" Drives poor Charlie bonkers when this happens!

Charlie wears himself out. Then lies on the couch next to me to sleep, tongue hanging out the right side of his mouth. Has himself a nap, then back to the door he goes.

Happy weekend!
