In case you wondered where I put the long farm painting that was in the living room, it was relocated here in the kitchen.
Look what's already blooming in the cracks of the cement. The rogue morning glory I brought here over three years ago from the little blue house. They are like weeds.
It looks blue in this light for some reason. But they are purple.
I have a funny Abi story.
I couldn't find her outside Saturday morning. I called her but she wouldn't respond.
This was all very strange. Because she normally goes where I go. She rarely lets me out of her sight.
Remember those books in the pediatrician's office where you had to find an object on a page that was somewhat camouflaged?
Well, I thought of that when I found her.
It was the strangest thing. She's never sat in a plant container that I know of before. She will jump into them, but not stay in them.
I think maybe she liked the cool dirt. That Abi is a real character!
Above are the hyacinth bean vines that are coming up. There were ten in the packet, but so far only 3-4 have come up.
Okay, I had some questions I'm going to answer that were asked of me in the last few days.
I would like to respond to each comment in a post, but find I just don't have the time.
If I didn't post every day, I could do that. So that has been a consideration.
It takes time to take photos, edit them, upload them, write a post, edit it, and then schedule it.
If I posted every other day, that would give me more time to have an ongoing conversation with you and answer questions.
But it's up to you readers. I've been posting every day for a long time. Only occasionally during that time have I found the time to respond to all the comments.
Would you rather I post every day? Or respond to comments and keep a conversation going? Which would you prefer?
Here are the questions I've been asked.
Question #1: Do I have rental insurance?
Answer: Yes
Question #2: What kind of pillows were on my bed that are so comfy?
Answer: Sleep For Success
The tag said: SleepForSuccess.com & By Dr. James B. Maas & National Sleep Products
Question #3: Did I stop watching The Black List?
Answer: Yes. I watched the first episode of the season last fall. But I just couldn't get into the story line for some reason. I had watched the show since it began.
Question #4: How did I hang the quilts that are on my wall?
Answer: Tacks. Just regular tacks.
If I wanted to hang quilts that were any bigger, I'd have to use something else.
Many of my larger quilts have a muslin sleeve that I hand sewed on the back. I can put a curtain rod or something similar through the sleeve to hang.
Question #5: What brand is my essential oil diffuser I use in the bedroom? And does it leave residue behind?
Answer: It is Young Living. I ordered it a few years ago when I ordered some of their essential oils. Think it was around $30. Happy Sunday!
Answer: I have never seen any residue on my furniture. I have it sitting on a small glass tray that's barely bigger than it is. But if you're worried, put it on a bigger tray.
