The female cardinal flies to the bird bath.
Her one true love comes to perch just above her on the fence, and she jumps on in.
Some sparrows join in.
Meanwhile, Charlie watches from the patio door.
The birds sipping at the water and bathing in the bird bath seems to fascinate him. He is entranced as they hop across the concrete.
I'm quite enjoying the show myself.
