East Village Penthouse by MNArchitecture

This renovation transforms an East Village apartment into an updated interpretation of the grand 19th century penthouse, rich with open-grained white oak paneling, tumbled French limestone floors, encaustic plaster walls, black lacquer cabinets and a beamed ceiling created with vintage French timbers. Existing windows were replaced with arched, steel framed French doors that lead out to a landscaped terrace.
